Fully qualified Psychotherapeutic Counsellor. I worked part time with a trauma clinic where I gained over 2 years experience working first hand with clients, helping clients through their counselling journey, along side this, I attended regular training programmes and workshops where I gained a lot of knowledge. I also trained with police Scotland, this was to help a counsellor understand violence and potential triggers for this.
I studied in different integrated aspects and modalities of therapy for four years, I studied at Queen Margaret University.
I'm fully trained in the Cognitive Behavioural Therapy technique and the Person Centred Therapy technique.
I'm also trained and qualified in Hypnotherapy. This is a useful form of therapy as this can be very relaxing for the client, helping the client to feel at ease, open the mind and implement positive change.
