Key Worker Counselling

My name is Sara Yorke and I'm an accredited counsellor, coach and NLP practitioner.
Whether you're struggling with stress, anxiety, depression, or any other issue, I'll look to support you by providing integrative counselling in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment.

I work with individuals for short or longer periods, depending on your need. My aim is to provide a safe space for you to address the concerns that bring you to therapy and to enable you to find ways to cope, address your challenges and achieve your goals.

I have a special focus on challenges arising from fertility issues, parenting concerns (including caring for adopted children, or those with additional needs) and navigating the impact of peri-menopause and menopause at home and in the workplace.

In addition I work with people in managing trauma and loss in their lives, whether past or present, and the impact of this on them personally and in their relationships with other people.

Prior to becoming a counsellor and coach I had a career in marketing and training which focused on the importance of connection. With clients I help them to focus on the link between work and wellness of the individual and how this impacts individual performance, relationships with others and the the performance of the organisation. This background has facilitated my helping many people within organisations at all life stages and circumstances, from trainees/apprenticeships, to parents to mid-life and those approaching retirement in maximising their physical and mental health in the workplace to create a positive work life balance.
