Location: Dulverton

I qualified in Nursing, Midwifery and Health Visiting and
worked a number of years in the Health Service, before
taking a break to raise a family. I then worked in a
support role in Education.
My previous professions and experiences lead my desire
to train as a Counsellor. I am qualified to Diploma Level
5 in Psychotherapeutic Counselling. The core model
studied was Integrative with an emphasis on Person-
Centred Counselling. I completed a course in Transactional Analysis.
I have additional training in, ‘Boarding School Syndrome,’
Addiction, Boundaries in Professional Ethical Practice,
Concepts of Transactional Analysis, Gender and Sexual
Diversity, Private Counselling Practice.
My professional development continues and I attend
regular training and study days.
I am bound by the British Association for Counselling
and Psychotherapy Ethical Framework and the National
Counselling Society Code of Practice. I am on an
Accredited Register that has been accredited by the
Professional Standards Authority.
