After serving in the armed forces for 27 years I have a vast of amount of experience in a range of situations and issues. I am a qualified and experienced Counsellor and a qualified Supervisor.

I qualified as a Counsellor in 2010 and have volunteered with a local charity ever since.

I started counselling fulltime in 2014 obtaining my first role working with the EAP company Health Assured.

I have supported children with SEN as a volunteer carer.

In 2016/17 I went to work on a counselling project for an independent charity providing well-being support for Pharmacists & their dependants, Pre-reg trainees & Pharmacy students. I have tutored a Chrysalis diploma level 4 course and worked for Kooth a national online counselling company providing support for young people aged 10 – 18. I am now a fully self-employed practitioner & supervisor providing humanistic and integrative therapy via face to face, structured telephone and Zoom counselling facilities.

I thoroughly enjoy working with others to assist, encourage and help them to develop and achieve their personal and professional goals.

I work with individuals through some very difficult issues which include bereavement stress, anxiety, anger, depression, eating disorders, self-harm, bullying, self-esteem, work stress etc. I truly believe that being able to help others to feel better cannot be underestimated and is a privilege that is not to be undervalued. Providing a safe and confidential area I wish to work with you to try and make sense of the issues that are affecting you.

As a supervisor I offer you a warm, friendly, professional supportive space to enable you to reflect upon your work with clients and consider the issues this raises. Together we can look to discover ways in which you can develop and enhance your skills.
