Key Workers Counselling

I have worked in the NHS since 1983. since 1992 I qualified as a health visitor. I have worked with families living with many situations and issues such as postnatal depression, depression, anxiety, post traumatic disorder, domestic abuse, child abuse, suicidal ideation, self-harm, relationship difficulties, behaviour difficulties, end of life care. working with family and friends who are living with cancer.
I currently work in the NHS with children and families offering emotional support for various reasons such as suicidal ideation, anxiety, panic attacks, low mood, self-harm, relationship difficulties, sexual health, anything that the young person wishes to talk about.
with both roles I have extensive experience working with children and families living with safeguarding concerns such domestic abuse and trauma.
I have been volunteering with Wessex cancer trust since 2017. I feel fortunate to continue to work as a counsellor for the trust. it is a true honour to support the client, their families and friends on their journey
