I am a UKCP registered integrative psychotherapist, accredited Counsellor, Level 3 Internal Family Systems therapist and specialise in anxiety, trauma, anger, depression, addiction and relationship issues using mainly Internal Family Systems therapy. I help you get to know your internal landscape, so that your system can change: unburdening and healing can occur. If you've ever said "a part of me feels x and another part y, you'll get the way I work: internal family systems is a proven, fascinating, creative and sometimes fun therapy as well as evidence based, deep and trauma aware.
I’m warm and relational, calm, compassionate and creative. I aim to be a facilitator in your own process of getting to know yourself better. I hold that you have the answers within, and with my help they may be found.
I have been in practice as a psychotherapist for eight years now, and I'm now specialising in Internal Family Systems (Level 3). I am a parent, with all that entails, and have previously been a university lecturer and business consultant. I hold a Masters and PhD (unrelated to psychotherapy) attended Cambridge University and Imperial College London. I trained as a counsellor and UKCP psychotherapist and also as a trainer for the Safe and Sound Protocol (Possible online) and am also a Neurofeedback practitioner (currently not possible due to COVID 19).
I receive regular IFS supervision and I’m fully insured.
