I understand that taking the first step towards seeking help is often a very daunting prospect. Making the decision to get help and address the concerns you are facing is an important first step and should be commended.

I am the founder of "Well Space Therapy" practice. My aim is to provide you with a safe and non-judgemental approach to explore your concerns and thoughts when life becomes difficult or uncertain. All sessions are private, secure and completely confidential.

I am dedicated to working therapeutically in a way that is right for each individual client and use approaches that will help you to get the best from each session. I am a qualified integrated therapist and trained to use a range of approaches including Psychodynamic, Solution Focused Therapy, Person Centred Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) , EFT (Emotional Freedom Therapy) and Mindfulness.

My practice is monitored by a qualified counselling supervisor and is bound by the BACP Ethical Framework. I am also listed on the BACP Professional Standards Authority register. I hold a Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring service) certificate and I am fully insured. I also maintain my professional standards by attending regular Continued Professional Development (CPD) trainings.

About me:

I have twenty-five years of experience working in the private, public and voluntary sector. In 2013 out of interest I enrolled on a course, ‘‘Awareness in Bereavement Care’’. The course was organised by a charity called, Cruse Bereavement Care.

Not only did this course inspire me, but it also gave me the motivation to retrain as a professional therapist. For a number of years, I worked within the charity setting to support clients on a voluntary basis. I worked passionately with young people and adults, enabling them to work effectively through their presenting needs. My interest in the mental health industry grew and in 2019, I transitioned to this field by setting up my own private practice.

My philosophy is that if you can have emotional and psychological well being, you can achieve your potential in many areas of your life. There are some of us who just require a little more help than others.

*PLEASE NOTE: Given the current situation with COVID-19, I am now offering sessions remotely via a online platform using Zoom. This means that therapy is a click away and accessible at a time convenient for you, irrespective of where you are based geographically.

I am offering a reduced rate (first three sessions), to any key-workers who have been directly affected by Covid. I also offer a reduced rate for students, trainee counsellors and OAP's.
