Key Worker CounsellingMates in Mind

Hello and welcome to my profile. I offer short and long term pluralistic counselling and psychotherapy to a variety of people usually experiencing quite complex issues. People come to see me for counselling on a one-to-one basis. I am located in Peterborough. I offer face-to-face and online methods of accessing counselling and psychotherapy.

I provide people a safe and supportive environment to talk and I assist them in disentangling complexities. I facilitate the exploration of personal issues that are impacting their life in one way or another. The psychotherapeutic process provides people that choose to work with me the opportunity to explore, gain clarity and deepen their perspective and understanding surrounding a range of personal issues.

I work with people holistically. My background is within person-centered therapy and existential psychotherapy. Working with a pluralistic ethos I value many modalities of psychotherapy and believe that people can benefit from a range of different things. It is important to me to take into account what the person believes will be useful for them too. In addition to my core approach of person-centred therapy I also apply other well established and accepted models of psychotherapy from the humanistic, behavioural and psychodynamic schools of thought when it is seen as beneficial and therapeutic to the person.
