I have over twenty years experience of working with people from all backgrounds and ages in a variety of roles, but I first became interested in counselling when I was in my twenties and needed help coping with a significant life event. Being able to explore my worries and fears in a safe, non-judgemental way, with someone who really 'got me' was a great help to me. With this in mind, I now offer the same safe environment to people who need help and support in dealing with whatever it is that is causing them upset.
I hold an Advanced Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling, meaning that I work using several different theoretical approaches to best suit your needs. Additionally, I am an accredited member of the National Counselling Society.
