I am a qualified and accredited counsellor with over 24 years of experience in the field of psychological therapies; I have worked as Senior Lecturer with the University of Central Lancashire; currently as an Associate Lecturer with the University of Warwick and in Private Practice as a Therapist, Supervisor & Trainer. I have experience of working with children, young people and adults and is why my clinical practice integrates a number of humanistic theories. The focus of the therapeutic work is to stay with the client’s experience and they understand what has happened or is happening in their life, I believe that each individual has a wealth of intrinsic abilities which when discovered and acknowledged encourages emotional growth and psychological well-being.
