I am a National Counselling Society accredited Counsellor. I have a private practice in my quiet home, based in Henley-on-Thames. I have a wide experience in working with clients living with anxiety, stress, depression, low self confidence and self-esteem, relationship issues, bereavement and other life crises.
I specialise in Emotional Therapeutic Counselling, which is person-centred
and as its name suggests, holds the belief that dis-ease is emotionally based and that healing of our emotional pain, which is often deeply buried, enables us to understand and change our behaviour, leading to a happier, healthier life.

It is a talking therapy, which is client-led and interactive, using creative techniques designed to bypass the logical mind and work at an emotional level. I help clients uncover, explore and express feelings in a safe, confidential and supportive environment, whilst, at the same time working together to find strategies to manage current difficulties and improve self-esteem and self-worth.
It can dramatically relieve emotional issues resulting from past events, such as trauma and loss, as well as ongoing situations of stress and anxiety.
The aim of ETC is to use the clients' own natural inner healing ability and, thereby, bring great self-knowledge and personal strength, from which they can cope with and enrich their lives more effectively.
