I am a fully qualified and registered Person Centred, Integrative Counsellor with a somatic and embodied approach to therapy.
I offer a unique integrative approach. This means that I will draw from different therapeutic approaches to support the work we do together.
It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey. I am a trauma informed integrative counsellor, I am also trained in multiple therapeutic techniques, including somatic therapies, that can help you unpick what is going on, support you in your process and ultimately give you a tool box going forward to empower and support yourself when you feel strong enough to finish therapy. It's my aim to get you to a place where you no longer need therapeutic support (although I am always here if you need to come back).
I work with a range of issues including, anxiety, depression, abuse, trauma, complex trauma, PTSD, grief, relationship-issues and a multitude of other life challenges.
I work on the premise that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths, maybe unbeknown to you yet, that will assist you in overcoming the things that challenge you.
I work in accordance with the NCS Ethical Principles & Code of Professional Conduct. All my work is conducted under supervision by an experienced, accredited supervisor.
I work in-person, online and on the telephone, so you may choose what feels best and you can have sessions from anywhere if you choose not to use the in-person option. I have a lovely, very comfortable private therapy room on the outskirts of Totnes in Devon, should you choose face to face therapy.
An initial 30 minute free consultation will precede our first official session so you can get a sense of whether we would be a good fit to work together.
