As a qualified psychotherapeutic counsellor, I am aware that how you experience your life day-to-day, at home or workplace, determines your overall sense of happiness, purpose and belonging, social relationships, status, and daily routine.

It is important not to let thoughts of stigma or discrimination discourage you from seeking support and making sense of issues, such as anxiety, stress, fear, low self-esteem, grief, negative thinking, and challenging relationships.

Throughout my professional career, I have over 25 years of experience working with and supporting children and adults with their mental health and wellbeing. I am genuine about caring for others and pride myself on building positive and trusting relationships through a person-centred approach to therapy that enables the exploration of life’s challenges and experiences. This means I actively listen and hear what you are saying so that I fully understand your situation. It also means I prioritise making sure your experience is in a safe and confidential space whilst offering compassionate empathy that enables you to talk without fear of judgement or criticism at your own pace.

I am trained to work online via the telephone or Zoom. This method of counselling takes away the stress of travelling to a therapy space and allows you to feel safe and comfortable in your own chosen environment.

There are some things in life you can't change such as the past, someone else's actions or thoughts. However, some things like the future, your mindset and your perspective can change with the right support.
If this is what you are seeking to achieve then I will be happy to help.
