As an accredited CBT/REBT counsellor, I work with sensitivity and compassion to help people with what is happening in their lives for them, as well as providing tools and strategies to help them promote their well-being and develop a new alternative outlook in life. We will work together to examine this so that clarity can be obtained as much as possible. Often when people are feeling a little bit low and not "up to it" in life, it is a sign that their feelings, emotions and behaviours, are out of balance so we are looking to see if we can break things down and have a look at the various patterns occurring, so that more helpful ways of looking at those patterns can be incorporated into their everyday lives. We will explore what is important and examine new ways of enriching lives in the most possible ways by looking at meanings and purpose.

During the CBT sessions I also use mindfulness, compassion work and solutions focused skills. The Solution Focused approach is a strength-based approach to therapy based on solution building and the construction of a preferred future. Very gently and in a non judgemental way we work together to enrich the tapestry of life and find solutions.

Please email me so that we can have a discussion on the phone, to see how I can help you on your journey. blandinehosker@gmail.com 07754 617191
