Jackie is Director of Athena Counselling Services Ltd and a lead trainer with Towards Discovery, an organisation set up to help young people, parents and practitioners develop emotional resilience and recover from adverse childhood experiences.. With over twenty years’ experience in transformational practice, her greatest passion is helping people overcome their life challenges. Recognising that one size does not fit all, she has undertaken extensive training in the UK and USA in psychological trauma, trauma psychotherapy, coaching, family mediation, focusing, supervision and teaching. Her experience includes nine years teaching Psychotherapy and Counselling at two welsh universities, working in primary and secondary schools, running groups and individual counselling services, and managing a prison therapeutic community.
Jackie helps individuals and groups to transform their lives and works with organisations internationally as a Consultant Trauma Specialist.
