Working as an ethical practitioner over the past few years, I have completed hundreds of hours of Continuing Professional Development (CPDs) to inform my practice in areas I work clinically with. My responsibility and duty of care towards my clients will always be, my commitment to keep updated with current research by reading and attending professional talks, training and lectures that will inform my practice.
I have worked and still do, for a specialist charity in London which works specifically with adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse, emotional abuse, neglect, violence, torture and domestic violence since 2020 clinically.
Counselling Students & Trainees and Skills Practice & Mentoring Service:
I bring my professional knowledge and community presence which greatly informs my practice to work with students or my peers. I have my finger on the pulse of what's going on in our profession through the network I have built up over the past 6 years, specifically around training routes, qualifications, ethical frameworks and accreditation.
