Member Status: Accredited

Member No: NCS18-07008

Location: Manchester

I trained at Salford College and qualified with a diploma in therapeutic counselling in 2012. During the last 10 years, I have worked extensively in and around Greater Manchester, in roles including, university counsellor, IAPT counsellor, volunteer counsellor, and health and wellbeing coach.

My approach to working with clients is based on Carl Rogers' person-centred approach.
This means I will offer you a non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings. I will offer you a safe space where we can talk honestly about what's distressing you.

For people who want to learn tools and techniques to reduce, for example, anxiety or depression, I offer cognitive behavioural therapy and solutioned focused practice learning and resources.

To maintain a healthy lifestyle, I like to help my partner in our small garden and socialise with our friends and family. I enjoy walking with a local group at weekends. I find reading anything from poetry to travel, helps me unwind.
