Mates in Mind

If you are considering some counselling/therapy, a good way to see if we might be able to work together is for us to have a conversation.

This is why I offer the first session free-of-charge; a no obligation meeting for you to see if I can help you to begin to identify your needs.

My experience includes working with people who struggle with anxiety; low mood; bereavement; and loss and also those who have suffered trauma; those who have suicidal thoughts; and those who have self-harming behaviours.

I am a professionally qualified counsellor offering a confidential, non-judgemental counselling service for young people, adults, and couples. My experience has been gained through working, not only in private practice, but also in working in the public sector (Belfast Trust) and voluntary sector (community counselling service).

The aim of my practice is to help you find resources to cope with issues you may have and to identify, understand and resolve any underlying causes. I offer you space and time to explore your issues and help you find new ways to live your live the way you want to.

Also, having had a successful 30-year career in a private sector profession, I am positioned to understand and provide counselling for the stresses and psychological impacts of a busy career.
