As a qualified psychotherapeutic counsellor, my aim is to work with you providing an integrated approach combining a range of techniques to best suit your needs. When your feelings are overwhelming and you are looking for a way to find a sense of self or meaning, I am able to adapt my approach to suit your individual needs so I can support you whilst you share the difficulties you are experiencing, or the emotional challenges that may be hindering your day to day.

Regaining control of your life may not be easy but by working together at your own pace I hope to be the person who will not only listen and understand, but provide you with the empathy and space where you feel comfortable dealing with life experiences. I aim to help you to reach your goals, increase your well-being or help you to focus on your personal growth.

I understand that taking the first steps can be difficult, but in order to help you with your decision its beneficial to have an initial consultation where you can address any concerns you may have and decide whether I am the right therapist for you. I am happy to offer a free 20-minute consultation to help you decide.

A GP referral to make an appointment is not necessary and all enquiries are treated with the strictest of confidence. To set up an initial consultation or to discuss any questions or concerns you may have, please contact me.

I have experience of working with anxiety, depression, self-harm, stress, low mood, suicidal feelings, relationship problems. Difficult life events such as bereavement, losing your job to upsetting or traumatic events, whether this is something that happened recently or in the past.

I am able to offer therapy online or via telephone, if you are unable to attend in person. I also offer a Walk and Talk therapy service bringing my person-centred therapy sessions outdoors. Outdoor therapy sessions have been well received by clients with fresh air, exercise and nature providing the perfect backdrop for their therapeutic journey.
