Creighton Counselling NI is a professional private practice in Belfast that offers affordable counselling in a safe, comfortable and non-judgmental space.
I am a down to earth counsellor with several years experience working with the LGBT community in Belfast and in the field of Student Mental Health and Wellbeing. I hold a PgDip. Counselling and Therapeutic Communication and I am a Registered Member of British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and an Accredited Member of the National Counselling Society.
Society is structured in such a way that it can be very easy to lose touch with ourselves, resulting in behaviour and decisions that are at odds with how we truly feel.
I believe that people shouldn’t have to deal with their problems on their own and that is my main motivation for being a counsellor.
My life’s journey has been far from straight forward and that allows me to examine how the (often) invisible pressures and restrictive boxes/categories of society can stop people expressing themselves in ways that make them feel happy and fulfilled.
By combining my counselling training with my life experience, I have created a safe and creative setting where clients can work through their thoughts, feelings and emotions in a relaxing and confidential space without judgement.
