Life can be stressful. Pressure from family, work, relationships, illness, can leave you lost, upset, confused, distressed and feeling like there is nowhere to turn. That is where I fit in. I provide a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space for you to talk openly about any problems, issues, or feelings you are encountering which may be preventing you reaching your goals or getting what you want out of life.
Regardless of your situation, be it overwhelming circumstances, long term problems, or a general discontent with life, I can work with you to help discover a way forward.
I have vast experience in working with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, bereavement, living with long term conditions and Cancer related trauma.
I offer both short term and long term therapy for both adults or teenagers.
I aim to provide an extremely high quality professional service and care and am a accredited member of the Counselling Society, and a registered member of the BACP, obtaining their certificate of proficiency, and adhere to their ethical framework. This requires very high standards in terms of training, professional skills and behaviour.
Although I work from a person-centred background, my integrative approach combines techniques tailor made to each individual client, providing support while we work through issues and problems.
In addition to my counselling diploma I have a wide range of further training including cognitive-behavioural therapy, transactional analysis relationship therapy, bereavement support, as well as qualifications for working with stress management, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, work based problems, long term health problems and family issues.
