I am 54 years old and live in East Lothian with my husband and 2 teenage daughters. Both of my daughters are autistic. I have a huge amount of lived experience around the challenges neurodiversity and mental health issues can present for people and their families.
Through this experience I became interested in counselling as a way of supporting people in the challenges they may be facing. I believe the counselling process has the power to enhance peoples lives in a meaningful way.
I combine seeing clients for Carers of East Lothian with a small private practice. I also work part-time as a District Nurse caring mainly for palliative care patients.
I am an open, honest and down to earth person who enjoys counselling. Whether you are seeking to make changes in your life or to explore challenges you face, counselling can offer insights and new perspectives which can help with this journey.
