I became a counsellor quite late in life after many years in healthcare. I've supported both individuals and their families at some of the most difficult and challenging times of their lives, plus I've had my own share of tough times too - I think it's fair to say I've seen some of the best as well as the worst sides of humanity at different times, but these experiences do allow me to try to connect at a deeper level with those in times of need. I know just how important it is to really be heard, to have your feelings acknowledged not disregarded, and not to be judged in any way.

I work in what's known as an integrated way, or in other words, by drawing on a number of different techniques, but the key thing is that is that you are always at the heart of it - it's about your needs, at your depth and at your pace, not mine. Life can sometimes be really rough, unfair and downright hard but there's no need to struggle and try to go it alone. I can't guarantee to have the answers but I can certainly be with you through the storm.

This last year has been particularly challenging in so, so many ways. You may be finding things difficult in general, feeling isolated and lonely or just plain old lost. You might be feeling anxious about the future or been touched by Covid-19 yourself, or even lost a loved one. You may be struggling with family, money or health issues, but whatever your difficulty, please get in touch, there is no problem either too great or too small that cannot be shared. I offer a free 20 minute session to see how well we might fit together and to ensure that I can meet your needs - it also gives you a chance to check me out if you want to, as its so important to choose a therapist that you feel comfortable with.

At the moment I offer both telephone as well as walk and talk sessions (along the beautiful Romney Marsh Beaches), and times are spread across the week. Working together by phone is certainly not a second best option and there are huge benefits in terms of saving time and travel for you, it can be done within the comfort and safety of your own home and at a time and place to suit you. Once the pandemic situation has settled I will be looking to source suitable Covid-19 secure premises as an additional service. There is no requirement for you to keep the same time each week or commit to set numbers of sessions -it's your therapy, at your pace. If you have any questions then please feel free to give me a call, I'd love to hear from you.
