I have a wealth of experience, over 20+ years, working in mental health and special educational needs.
I worked for many years with private, charity, education & partner organisations to deliver help and support for clients with drug & Alcohol misuse and disabilities. Working at a mentor level, I could see a gap in the provision that many clients facing addictions came from unaddressed, deeper-rooted problems.

I have also worked with a charitable organization as a practitioner delivering Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for inmates due for release. Also, my problems led me to train as a counsellor.

I conducted my voluntary/placement work in private practice, where I am now a Resident Counsellor for a nonprofit organisation. I work with clients with Counseling, Psychotherapy, Health and well-being, helping clients maintain their physical, psychological and emotional well-being, helping them to explore unconscious feelings and helping clients move forward.

I am educated to a degree level and have trained through Chrysalis within the Mick Cooper & John Mcleod Pluralistic Approach. This approach enables me to taylor your needs by using different processes and activities at different times, a collaborative, integrative perspective and engage you in shared decision making. Each client is individual and unique and, therefore, may need different things from therapy. I have recently obtained My CYP (Counselling Young People) for working with young people through Casy Counseling. My experience means I can work with a varied client group. I can offer person-centred, cognitive behavioural, psychodynamic, and gestalt therapy with a therapeutic counselling approach.
