Warm welcome

Hello, I'm Pip, an NCS registered psychotherapeutic counsellor and rewind therapist in Norfolk, who brings about change to people’s lives.

You may be feeling that you need to talk through something that has left you feeling a range of emotions that you are finding difficult to understand leaving you confused. You may be feeling a loss that has left you feeling alone and unsure of how to be or move forward; helpless and hopeless from something out of your control; or it could be a trauma that has left you feeling overwhelmed, confused, numb, detached, panicky, shocked, and struggling with day-to-day life. Sometimes you may not be able to pinpoint a specific issue or the words that you feel, and you may not see it as a trauma. This isn’t unusual. When feelings from the trauma or loss are not resolved, they may bring about feelings of anxiety, fear, panic, or terror.

If some of these sounds familiar, then you may need help of counselling to move forward. When your experiences are not understood or processed properly, they can leave you thinking differently, feeling differently and cause you to act differently, you may lose your way and not know who you are anymore.
Does this sound familiar? If so, I can help.

I help you to understand why you are feeling the way you do by working through past experiences. This helps you to understand yourself more and help your confidence and self-worth and self-esteem grow, which will help you to take control of your life and move forward positively making the right choices for you.

Having had counselling myself, I understand how hard it is to take the first step to find a counsellor that you feel relaxed and comfortable with to talk through your experiences and feelings, that you may never have told anyone before. Be assured, you've come to a place where you can 'just be' you, where you will be listened to, accepted, and understood. I will work alongside you to help you understand and explore why you are feeling the way you are, giving you time and space to work at your own pace. I offer a free 20-30 minutes initial consultation which gives us a chance to talk about how we will work together and any other questions that you may have. There is no obligation to continue with counselling after this, if I feel that I cannot help I will give you contacts of other counsellors that may be more suited to your needs.

When children experience a trauma, abuse or a loss, they may act out their feelings through their behaviour, as it may be too much for them to find words to express their feelings. I have 23 years’ experience of working with children & young people and understand their barriers to learning which affect their development. I work creatively with all ages, which helps when people just can't find the words they need or may not want to say. There is more information of how I work with Parents and children on my website.

For face to face appointments I am based at The Reiki Room Acle; Divine Time Holistic Health, The Vicarage Hub, Great Yarmouth, Norfolk; and Milestone Therapy Centre, Ingham Road, Stalham, Norfolk, NR12 9DS. Free parking at all venues. I provide online or telephone appointments nationwide too.

Please have a look at my website and get in touch with any questions you have, my website will give you more information about what counselling will be like and how we will work together. I'm offering a free 30 minute consultation at the moment which you can book above or on my website. This will give us an opportunity to chat about what you'd like to work through and an opportunity for you to get to know me.
