Sometimes life can leave us feeling stuck and alone. Whether it's fear of the current situation or something that's been there for longer, you don't have to be on your own. The thought of counselling can be very daunting, as I know from my own experience. We fear we may not be accepted; however there is absolutely no judgement. It's a bit like peeling an onion: we look at things a little bit at a time, to the extent that you want to. Gaining insight can be a great release, and when we change our thoughts we can change our whole life.
Apart from being highly qualified I bring my personal qualities of compassion, insight and listening. I work with you in a range of ways: CBT to manage and counteract unhelpful thoughts and beliefs, Person centred to connect with the inner self, Psychodynamic to gain insight into the unconscious mind, enabling the recovery of what presently lies outside conscious awareness.
