I work with what you bring, using a counselling approach that meets your individual needs, rather than fitting your needs into a predecided approach. For example, you may need some immediate help with tools to manage your current symptoms, and then later want to look deeper into discovering the cause of those symptoms. Whatever you bring I will not judge. I will offer you the care, empathy and understanding that I would want in a counsellor.
I provide counselling for anxiety, feeling not good enough, perfectionism, persistent worry and low mood. My counselling practice is both face to face and online through video call, and I work alongside my husband Shaun who is also a counsellor and previously worked for CAMHS.
I offer you a safe, accepting and supportive environment. If you feel that you can trust me, then growth and change will happen as we explore together. You may not really know exactly how to explain how you are feeling, and that's OK too. Call me for a chat and see what your gut instinct says about working with me.
