Mates in Mind

For me, the emotional, spiritual, physical, psychic and relational aspects of every human being are intimately and inextricably woven together. There is an inner voice inside of us all that knows we are here for a reason and that each and every one of us is extraordinary. Sometimes, however, our environment and societal programming do not support us to be the best versions of ourselves. I offer a safe space to explore patterns, limiting beliefs, overwhelm, bereavement, grief, losses and traumatic experiences and to invite a sense of greater alignment and relationship with yourself along with feeling a sense of more empowerment, wellbeing, compassion, resilience and meaning. Living in the South West, I have experience of working in rural settings, having worked on a livestock and cider farm and currently supporting a smaller, community farm, so I am familiar with the challenges of owning and operating a farm and how this way of life can impact on our mental health and wellbeing.

Within each of us is the ability and innate wisdom to heal ourselves. The systems and structures and transgenerational embodiment patterns can skew, muffle and dim the light that directs us towards our own healing journey. Sometimes, we need someone to walk alongside us on our journey to self-awareness and this is what I do. Nowadays I often feel like a wise elder (well, most of the time!). I offer a safe, empowering, therapeutic healing space within which to explore life's challenges, twists, turns, anxieties, depression, abuses, flatness, low mood, grief and loss alongside celebrating your joys and the often unspoken about dreams, and perhaps the more anomalous, transpersonal and inexplicable experiences. I have apprenticed in shamanic practice and this offers an additional wise woman, grounded, earthly, elemental and often playful perspective to our work together. In this tradition, the troubled one says "I seek support so that I can let go to my depths".

Therapy and a commitment to our self work is a fundamental part of our self-care. It is an investment and, to me, it needs to be affordable and accessible to everyone. Are you feeling ready to embark on this therapeutic journey? It is something that often we just know. Something innate. Perhaps your inner pilot light is shining a light on an aspect of your life and you want support to explore this. If so, I am here to help. I look forward to connecting.
