I specialise in helping people to achieve self-acceptance. This might be something you struggle with as a result of anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, bullying, abuse, or being a highly sensitive person (HSP) in a neuro-typical world. You may also be experiencing guilt and shame as a result of trauma and addiction. Whatever your issue please get in touch and if I feel that I can not personally help you then I will point you in the direction of someone who can.
My qualification is in pluralistic counselling which means that it is guided by the needs of each individual client and is led by your wishes. It can include a pure person centred approach, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) or psychodynamic approaches if this is what you feel you want or need. We will work together to decide what approach would be best for you as an individual. Each of these terms and approaches will be explained on my website. However, in the meantime I am happy to explain them in more detail when we talk.
I know it can be difficult to decide whether counselling or a particular counsellor is right for you so I am offering a 30 minute call (phone or Zoom) for just £10 which is deductible off your first session if you decide to go ahead. There will be no obligation or pressure to do so. Sessions are held on Zoom or I can offer Walk and Talk in the Beccles and Bungay area.
I also appreciate that times are hard at the moment so if you would struggle to pay my full rate of £40 per hour (full hour not 50 minute hour) then please reach out to me and we can see what we can arrange.
I promise you a trained listening ear, a non-judgemental approach and someone to stand alongside you as you move towards your goals.
