Thank you for taking the time to read my profile.
From time to time we all have problems, concerns or worries that stand in the way of our happiness. Sometimes it can be difficult to share these feelings with our family or friends. At times we may be able to push our worries aside and carry on with our day to day. However, there may be times when the burden is too great to bear and the weight is too heavy to carry. It's at times like these that it can be helpful to have someone to talk to and keep alongside us as we unpick all of this 'stuff' that can be so overwhelming. We can then begin to move forwards – either by finding ways to manage our difficulties or by finding ways to enable us to leave them behind.
I recognise that we are all unique and that one size does not fit all. Therefore, I work using a Pluralistic Approach: I draw on different therapeutic models such as Person-Centred Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Transactional Analysis and Gestalt. This means that your therapeutic journey is tailor made for you and planned with you to ensure that your experience is personal, flexible and relevant.
At the heart of our work will be a strong, supportive and trusting therapeutic relationship. I believe that by creating a safe and non-judgemental space in which you will feel supported and listened to you will get the best possible outcomes from your therapy.
