Life throws all of us many challenges from our past, relationships, work and health. We cope well with these most of the time though sometimes we cannot. The disturbance caused by these can lead to negative emotions, including anxiety, anger, guilt, shame and at times depression.
I passionately believe these can be overcome with empathetic, non-judgemental, creative and experienced support. The positive changes built help us move on, achieve our personal goals, enjoy life to its fullest, experience joy and have fun!
My approach with clients is to understand the unhealthy beliefs that cause disturbance. clients then build, with guidance, a healthier belief set and exercises are used to fundamentally shift the way clients think and feel. I apply life and professional experience to bring around this change. Achieving results for clients, and preventing disturbance again, matters to me and seeing this is incredibly rewarding.
The first steps are to fully listen and understand you as a person, then assess your emotions and problems. Together, we agree clear goals and work to meet these through straight talking, some challenge and homework. I am keen to build a solid relationship with each client based on empathy, trust and much care.
