The decision to start counselling can be daunting - together, we will aim to establish a safe, trusting and supportive environment in which you can explore any aspect of difficulty that you are currently experiencing in your life with a view to you making positive and lasting change.

Generally speaking, people come to to counselling for a variety of reasons, they may include:

To explore, for example, why am I feeling down or anxious.

To clarify, to increase their understanding of difficulties they are experiencing in their lives and/or how they may want to make changes to what they feel are unhelpful behaviour patterns they are experiencing.

Some even come to counselling as they may want "more for themselves", maintaining a sense of equilibrium in what is proving to be a difficult world sometimes.

I am a fully insured accredited member of the National Counselling Society. I am also a member of UKATA (United Kingdom Association of Transactional Analysts.) and adhere to the ethics of both these organisations.

Please contact me via either email or telephone for an introductory session if you would like to explore how we could work together.
