I am an integrative counsellor that uses a combination of methods and approaches to inform the work we do together keeping the primary focus on what works best for the issues you bring into the counselling room.
My experience spans over 8 years of working with children, young people and adults, predominately in a school setting with issues ranging from anxiety, self-esteem, depression, grief and bereavement, self-harm and suicidal thoughts. This work takes the form of short-term CBT informed practice over 6-12 sessions or longer-term work involving a wider mix of approaches but all these ways of working with someone is driven by the individual, putting them at the centre of the process and providing a review at regular intervals.
I recommend an initial telephone/zoom conversation and then to schedule an in-person meeting where we can explore what therapy may feel like and then you are free to decide if I am the right counsellor for you without any obligation.
