There are times in our life when pressures mount up so much, that they really impact on the quality of our day to day living and our overall wellbeing. This may be caused by specific events such as a relationship breakup, the death of a pet or loved one, redundancy or our health. It could be more general such as the impact of Covid-19, unfulfilling relationships whether that be with your colleagues, parents, siblings, partner or your children. Or, you’re not sure what’s causing you to feel so fed up – you ‘should’ be happy. Building resilience does not eradicate the stress and anxiety of everyday life, but it does reduce the impact.
I am passionate about helping people find their way. I am friendly and nurturing, which helps create a relaxing space for us to work together. Being able to express your thoughts and feelings without the dread of being hurt, judged, or shamed, gives you the opportunity to explore your problems safely, at your own pace. I work in a trauma informed way.
I know from my own experience that attending counselling can feel really scary, yet if you're brave enough, it can also be one of the most enriching. That's why it's really important to make sure you find a counsellor that is a good fit for you, shop around and make sure they feel right for you. Contact me to book a call.
