Hello and thank you for coming to have a look around. I’m an integrative counsellor so I can tap into lots of different skills and ways of working to find what suits you, and to find how best to empower you to move through the issues you bring for us to journey with. I say journey…. because right from our first meeting I’ll be seeing things through your eyes, never judging, never telling you what to do, and we will work together till the end of your counselling journey.

I started my counselling journey when I was studying for my Criminology degree and I was volunteering within the Criminal Justice System as an appropriate adult and also with young people who had offended. I found empathy and compassion for people going through enormous challenges and I knew that counselling was for me.

In my private practice I work with children, young people and adults on an individual basis. I do not work with couples. I am also a school counsellor and at the moment I’m working within primary schools counselling young people aged between 5-11.
I enjoy all aspects of counselling and I’m especially interested in bereavement, grief and loss, childhood experiences, psychodynamic work, hypnotherapy and creative counselling (art, poetry and words, meditation and spiritual work) You will find me to be a very calm and compassionate counsellor who will give you the time and space to just be yourself, yet I will also challenge you if needed. I hope I’ve given you a little insight into who I am and it’s over to you now….
