I am an accredited integrative counsellor who has experience working with adults as well as young people aged 11+ in secondary school, colleges and university. I like to use the pluralistic approach to counselling which is an encouraging and collaborative method that aims to work in partnership with the client, in order to achieve the best positive changes, you desire. I give particular care and attention to creating a safe and non-judgmental space where you can explore all aspects of your life. I believe you know yourself best and you are your own expert. With this in mind, I believe in creating a trusting environment where you feel heard, respected understood and empowered.

Therapy is about working together to find what works best for you, and in order to do that I use a variety of techniques and tools such as CBT, creative play, role play, mindfulness, journalling and other person-centred and pluralistic methods. I work with you to find what suits you best and tailor the sessions around that. Some of the areas I have experience of working in include: stress, anxiety, anger, bereavement, relationships, school issues, low, moods, body image, confidence and self-esteem.

I maintain confidentiality at all times and follow all safeguarding protocols. I am a member of the National Counselling Society and adhere to their code of conduct and ethics.
