I am Tia and I am a Pluralistic Counsellor so I am able to use approaches from Person Centred, Psychodynamic and CBT.

I believe that everyone has their own unique story that deserves to be listened to in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment.

I have experience in providing counselling to young people aged 12-25. I used a person centred and creative approach.

I also provide counselling for adults where I counselled depression, anxiety, bereavement and relationship breakdown.

I also worked as a Family Support Worker within Plymouth Children Social Care. I was able to provide a safe space for parents and children to see each other. I did intervention work for healthy relationships, relationship breakdown, anger and LifeStory Work.

Before becoming a counsellor I achieved my Masters in Movement Psychotherapy where I worked with a charity doing therapy for children that have witnessed domestic abuse. I volunteered in Plymouth Acute Unit with severe mental health and a special needs school.

When I'm not working I love to read and spend time with my dog and husband.
