I can offer a multi-disciplinary approach to counselling which includes Person Centred approach, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Solution focused work. Specialising in Anxiety, Depression, Addiction, Relationship issues and many others. I can also offer pure CBT work.
I am currently studying a Level 7 Diploma in Complex Trauma and PTSD. This allows me to work with clients who may be suffering from PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) following a life event such as a rape, car accident, burglary or mugging etc or clients who may suffer from a more Complex trauma following childhood abuse, domestic violence, witnessing others being harmed or killed etc. If you have never been diagnosed with this conditions but have suffered any of the above I can help you with an assessment.
I offer individual sessions, which can be open ended or for an agreed amount of time. Couples Therapy is also available.
The quality of the relationship I have with each client is of paramount importance to me, because without a relationship, therapy simply will not work. Drawing on both my professional and life experience I aim to empower my clients to find their own solutions.
I am a registered member of the BACP. Accredited member of NCS.
