Qualified Relationship and Sex therapist. I qualified as a general counsellor in 2004 and joined Relate to qualify as a relationship counsellor and sex therapist. I continued working with Relate until 2010 when I obtained a full time position as a specialist counsellor and sex therapist with the NHS. During this time I qualified as a supervisor for supervising staff and students in 2013 and undertook a Foundation course in CBT skills with Plymouth University. From 2013 I continued to offer private therapy and left the NHS in December 2017 (when sex therapy was no longer funded by the NHS) and set up my own full time practice in Exeter. I have gone on to do further training in sexual addiction and EMDR. I am able to accept Bupa, Axa Ppa and Aviva private clients and also do work with Employee assisted schemes.
