I am a co-founder of Umbrella Counselling in Grantham. I am a qualified counsellor working mainly with surviors of childhood sexual abuse, those who have experienced sexual violence and/or rape. Umbrella counselling currently work with the University of Lincoln, Lincolnshire PCC, and Lincolnshire SARC.
I have further qualifications in working with children and young people.
I am qualified in REWIND technique, for the treatment of PTSD.
I also hold a qualification in counselling supervision. I am a person-centred practitioner and supervisor. I follow a cyclical model of supervision, which focuses on nurturing, education and challenging/appraising the supervisee and their work. It is an empowering model, which is delivered ethically within the framework of the NCS code of Ethics.
