It is both my passion and privilege to work with adults and young people experiencing a wide range of psychological and emotional issues. I offer face to face and online sessions.
I have a BA (Hons) Degree in Humanistic Counselling & Psychotherapy which has laid the foundations for my approach. I focus on understanding and exploring your unique world and how you perceive it. You may want to address a specific issue and/or together we could work to understand your values and beliefs, your relationship with yourself, with others, and with the outside world. I work collaboratively with my clients as I believe you are the expert on you and that therapy is done with you, not to you!
I offer both short and long term therapy in person or online using a secure video meeting platform. The number of sessions will depend on the issues you bring and the pace you would like to work at. This can be discussed at our initial meeting.
I will strive to provide you with a relationship where you will feel safe to talk openly about your inner most thoughts and feelings in a confidential and secure environment. Hopefully the therapeutic relationship that we will build will allow you to understand yourself better.
Alongside my private practice I volunteer as a counselling assessor for a charity supporting young people aged 13 to 25 and previously I was a counsellor for a charity supporting carers.
