Key Workers Counselling

For those who haven't received counselling or psychotherapy before, the initial meeting can seem daunting and it is normal to experience an element of anxiety or nerves before the first session. Clients come to counselling for many reasons and talking with someone unconnected with your situation can often be very helpful in gaining inside to the issues that are currently causing you concern. When exploring these issues together we can then assess best suits your needs to create new patterns of behaviour and relationships. during the initial session we can explore how counselling may help you and what you might expect from counselling. This session also gives a sense of what it is like to work with me in a calm and confidential setting and also provide time to raise any concerns you might have to continue.
