I also integrate other modalities into my therapy, such as mindfulness and Compassion-Focused Therapy (ACT). I am also a qualified Personal Trainer, so I can offer you practical advice along with emotional support you need to reach your exercise goals.
I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS), which is a condition that affects my joints and connective tissues and affects my ability to exercise. I understand the challenges of living with a chronic condition and the impact it can have on your ability to exercise.
The benefits of regular exercise can include,
• Improved mood: Exercise can help to improve mood and reduce stress levels.
• Better sleep: Exercise can help to improve sleep quality and reduce the amount of time it takes to fall asleep.
• Increased energy: Exercise can help to increase energy levels and reduce fatigue.
• Weight loss: Exercise can help to lose weight or maintain a healthy weight, which can reduce stress on joints and other pain-causing areas.
• Reduced risk of other chronic diseases: Exercise can help to reduce the risk of developing other chronic diseases, such as heart disease, stroke, and diabetes.
If you are interested in working with me, please contact me for a consultation. I would be happy to discuss your individual needs and how I can help you reach your health goals.
Currently, I offer Zoom or telephone sessions. Sessions are 50 minutes.
