Hello and Welcome to my profile……
Do you ever get the feeling that something just isn't quite right, but you can't put your finger on it? Do you find yourself more and more often retreating to be by yourself? Maybe you find yourself overwhelmed by distorted and often unhelpful ways of thinking. Are you behaving in ways that seem out of character or self-sabotaging which can sometimes lead to:
• Depression
• Anxiety
• Relationship Difficulties
• Anger Issues
• Impacting work, social, family, school life
• Lack of self-esteem and self-belief
• Breakdowns
• Self-Isolation

Perhaps you have experienced or are currently going through something life changing and you are unsure how to cope with it or come to terms with it.

Whatever it is that brings you to my page; I want you to know that you do not have to do all of this on your own. As a fully trained and registered Counsellor; I aim to offer you a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space where together, we can work though those difficult aspects of your life. I will be by your side whilst you identify helpful shifts in familiar patterns of thought, language and behaviour and support your process of making positive changes in your life and moving forward.

ABOUT ME
I believe in you being the expert of your world, so we will work with what you bring. The focus and the aim of our work will be decided by you and my hope is that I can provide you with a space that empowers you to talk about things that are causing you unease and distress. I will support you in helping you to understand yourself; find answers for your problems and thereby make positive changes.

I work in an integrative way and this means I will draw on different approaches and ways of working in order to best suit and honour your unique and individual needs.
I hold enhanced DBS clearance which allows me to work with different client groups; including adults, young people and children.

Currently I share my time between Private Practice and working in a Mental Health Setting within the NHS.

I work with individuals living with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and I have had success in supporting those individuals build resilience, reduce anxiety and find creative ways to help them understand themselves and their trigger points.

I co-facilitate Group Programmes which has seen high success rates in reducing symptoms of anxiety in its severest form.

I hold professional registration with both the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the National Counselling Society (NCS).

Covid-19 Secure
Covid-19 has provided the backdrop to a time that many are finding very unnerving and unsettling.
My practice is Covid-19 secure and I adhere to government guidelines to ensure safe practice for both you and I; therefore at this time I am fortunate to be able to offer face to face appointments. However, I understand that this may not feel right for you at this time so I am also able to offer telephone or virtual appointments.
