Do you ever get the feeling that something just isn't quite right, but you can't put your finger on it? Do you find yourself more and more often retreating to be by yourself? Maybe you find yourself overwhelmed by distorted and often unhelpful ways of thinking. Are you behaving in ways that seem out of character or self-sabotaging which can sometimes lead to:

Depression
Prolonged periods of unexplained sadness & low mood
Anxiety
Relationship Difficulties
Anger Issues
Impacting work, social, family, school life
Lack of self-esteem and self-belief
Breakdowns
Isolation
Perhaps you have experienced or are currently going through something life changing and you are unsure how to cope with it or come to terms with it.

Whatever it is that brings you to my page; I want you to know that you do not have to do all of this on your own. As a fully trained and registered Counsellor; I aim to offer you a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space where together, we can work though those difficult aspects of your life. I will be by your side whilst you identify helpful shifts in familiar patterns of thought, language and behaviour and support your process of making positive changes in your life and moving forward.

I work with individuals living with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and I have had success in supporting those individuals build resilience, reduce anxiety and find creative ways to help them understand themselves and their trigger points.

I have extensive experience working in the NHS including the Tier II CAMHS service.

I have worked in various mental health settings including Alternative Provisions, where I worked with individuals with significant emotional dysregulation and attachment difficulties.

As a mental health outreach worker for Mind; I supported individuals who were transitioning from Tertiary Mental Health services back into community support services. I collaborated with the local Clinical Commissioning Group to identify community services that could provide a key role in supporting people with emotional wellbeing and mental health difficulties.
