It can be hard to reach out and take the first step when you think you need help, I can make the process a little easier for you. I am friendly and have an approachable, conversational style that provides both understanding and the opportunity for introspection.
My therapeutic work is grounded in Contemporary Psychotherapy and online therapy is a specific feature of my practice. I offer my clients help with a broad range of issues from anxiety, depression, panic attack, relationship and family issues, loss, trauma to bereavement.
HOW DO I WORK?
Talking: hearing oneself speak is a very important part of getting to know ourselves – deepening the primary relationships – the one with ourselves!
Being heard: being witnessed: is also a very important element in the healing process and that’s where I come in. Creating a safe, confidential space in which this process can be housed. Joining you on your journey.
Originally, I completed a bachelor’s degree in custodial education and then continued with my studies to complete a master’s in social rehabilitation. My post-graduate studies concentrated on counselling and psychotherapy, where I trained in a pluralistic approach specifically concentrating on an outcome-oriented approach to psychotherapy. I have a substantial medical background and worked for many years supporting vulnerable adults as part of a healthcare team.
