I'm an accredited counsellor with experience working with adults and young people who are seeking support with issues such as anxiety, depression, sadness, addiction (e.g. alcohol, computer games, drugs, food, gambling, sex, and smoking), anger management, assertiveness, low self-confidence / self-esteem and relationship problems.

Are you experiencing difficulties in life, be it in work, at school or in relationships? Perhaps making you feel fearful, lethargic, or sapping your self-confidence?

As a fully trained and DBS checked counsellor, I will help you to understand what is going on, allowing you to find some solutions. We can design personalised tools to help you live your life with more understanding and happiness.

The aim of counselling is to create a safe, non-judgmental, confidential and supportive environment for you to express yourself and be heard. A place where you are able to explore and resolve what’s brought you to therapy safely. Whether this is something of long standing significance to you or something more immediate in your life.

With the chance to explore and understand how you relate to yourself internally and with others around you, you will have the opportunity to make new more informed choices for yourself in moving your life forward and potentially leaving your issues behind you.

I have had the pleasure of being able to help many clients to regain personal empowerment and find the ability to choose a new way to live.

Having worked in the charitable sector and privately for many years I bring a wide range of experience in counselling skills and styles to create a style that is as individual as you are.

I am based centrally in Barnstaple for my face to face meetings, however, I am also able to offer on-line Zoom therapy, Telephone therapy or Walk and Talk therapeutic meetings which may suit your needs better.

Please feel free to contact me if you wish to discuss any particular needs or requirements.
