I work from a confidential and professional space based in Newmarket and provide counselling for a wide range of issues for individual adults. It is a comfortable space where we can safely explore any issues that you have in confidence.
I recognise that trying to find the right counsellor for you can be a journey in itself; it can be difficult to talk about some things and can feel like a big step to take. During our counselling sessions I will gently encourage you to explore your issues with a non-judgemental approach.
Having experienced different approaches to counselling myself during my training I understand how important it is to find the right fit and working style that is the best for you. I trained as an Integrative counsellor covering Humanistic, Psychodynamic, and Jungian therapy; my approach also includes the use of creativity to help people who may find it difficult to find or voice their emotions. Using these theories I can tailor my approach to fit with what works best for you.
The relationship is very important between a counsellor and a client and so in the initial session there is no obligation to return but if you feel like we have a good connection and would like to work together we would meet on a weekly basis and at a set time (if possible).
I have a particular interest in working with people who may be struggling with their gender or sexuality as this is something I am passionate about.
