I offer a safe, non-judgemental space to support you in self exploration, leading to insight and positive change.
Working collaboratively allows us to find the most effective and personal approach suited to you, which may include person centred art therapy, CBT or solution focused approaches. This ensures that sessions are tailored to your unique situation. Ultimately it is my hope that you feel seen, heard and understood, as can only occur in the relationship of trust, empathy and warmth.
Since qualifying in 2006, within my private practice I have been supporting those experiencing a wide range of issues including anxiety, low self esteem, bereavement and traumatic loss. Utilising art as an additional therapeutic tool enables the inexpressible to be expressed safely, gently and effectively. If we decide to use art in our sessions, no artistic skill is required.
I offer Eco Walk and Talk therapy as well as online therapy and conventional face to face counselling in my warm and relaxed home office/art therapy space.
I have 20+ years of experience in supporting clients for the U.K.'s largest bereavement support charity, for whom I am a bereavement group facilitator, supervisor, counsellor, and young peoples support worker.
I am studying towards my Masters Level 7 in Transpersonal Art Therapy which incorporates a deeper spiritual dimension to the work.
