I live in Kingswinford in the West Midlands. My roots are humble and I am proud of them. They have made me who I am today. I am honest, friendly and down to earth. It is my personal experience of counselling, and the benefits thereof, that lead me to qualify as a counsellor. I am passionate about mental health, having not only worked in the sector for several years but also struggled with my own traumatic history and mental health (and the stigma surrounding it). I want to give my clients time and the chance to be really heard, to be visible, validated and understood without judgement. I have many varying interests and hobbies from Heavy Metal, Motorbikes and Tattoos to Crochet.
In addition to my BA (Hons) Degree, I also have a Level 5 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, amongst other associated qualifications and certificates. I have worked with a number of local mental health charities in voluntary and paid capacities, and also in my private practice.
