If we work together then I will hold a safe space for you to explore whatever issues you wish to bring and work with you towards the goals and outcomes you most want to achieve. I will do this is a non judgmental, holistic and empathic way, respecting your choices and with complete confidentiality.
I started training some years ago attending Bridgwater College completing foundation and intermediate counselling courses and I then went on to attend the Dartmoor Centre for Counselling and and Psychotherapy where I qualified in the Advanced Diploma in Counselling. After this I qualified in the Diploma in Sandplay, Diploma in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Certificate in Couples Counselling.
I have an extensive working background in statutory organisations including local authority and the NHS. I have worked with people from all walks of life and all ages for the past 20 plus years.
Until recently I ran a counselling service in a local charity but now I concentrate on my private practice.
I use a cabin in my garden that is warm and welcoming, there is level access over a gravel path and parking and a bus stop nearby.
